I‘m a seasoned marketer with a diverse and unique skill set across a variety of industries. Having found that I could obtain a higher quality product more efficiently if I learned to do things myself, I’ve been able amass capabilities and continually reinvent myself.

I’m a strong writer, but an even stronger editor. I have extensive experience in strategic marketing, marketing operations, web design and website development, email marketing, marketing automation, presentation creation, branding, social media, marketing management, video montage creation, logo design, and so much more.

When roadblocks emerge, I problem-solve. If I don't have an immediate answer, I’ll find a solution. I’m used to tight deadlines and high expectations. Quality is of the utmost importance to me. I also understand the importance of simply being responsive.


Bio

As the a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer with Authentic Brand, I help growing businesses overcome random acts of marketing by providing leadership that helps these businesses turn marketing into a strategic, sustained, sales-aligned, core component of their organization. Previously, I served as Vice President of Marketing for Joule Assets, where I was responsible for branding, strategy, PR, collateral, strategic marketing, digital marketing, and corporate positioning for Joule and its subsidiaries. As Assistant Vice President, Digital & Social Media at Transamerica, I led technology-related marketing efforts for Transamerica's Investments & Retirement division. I was Marketing Director for Hatteras Funds, a $2 billion+ Raleigh, NC-based alternative investment firm that offered various fund of funds products. As Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Westwood One, the nation’s largest provider of syndicated radio programming, I oversaw personnel and budgets; served as strategic liaison to programming and media partners (e.g. NFL, NCAA, affiliate stations); and was responsible for positioning to clients and shareholders through promotions, sponsorship, PR, investor relations, and events such as radio row at NCAA Basketball Final Four Tournaments, the Super Bowl, GRAMMY Awards, ACM Awards, BET Awards, and the Olympics. At Madison Square Garden, I worked in the marketing partnerships group that provided sponsor servicing across MSG's sports, entertainment, and media businesses. For the five years prior, I worked in investment banking as a high yield bond research analyst at Smith Barney, Salomon Smith Barney, and Barclays Capital, performing fundamental analyses to provide published opinions and recommendations to institutional investors on high yield securities. I launched my professional career at management consulting firm McKinsey & Company as part of the Organization Practice’s knowledge management team. I earned an M.A. in Industrial Psychology/Organizational Behavior from Hofstra University, graduating with a 4.0 as the program valedictorian, and a B.A. from Binghamton University. I played Division I lacrosse, and have earned multiple US Lacrosse coaching certifications. I currently sit on the board of our town lacrosse program. I also enjoy coaching boys lacrosse at the youth level. Much of my free time is spent by the courts or at the fields with my husband (and sometimes our two Labrador Retrievers), watching our two sons play baseball, lacrosse, and basketball.
